TPC Sawgrass: Jacksonville Golf for the Family

What golfer wouldn't like to play TPC Sawgrass, the golf course home of the American PGA TOUR's Players Championship? None. If they don't want to, they can't really call themselves "golfers."

At first glance, a golfer with a family wouldn't give a serious thought to spending hard-earned vacation time to travel and play Sawgrass. After all, what's in Jacksonville, Florida for the kids and spouse to do anyway?

Well, a lot!

While exploring the Jacksonville area, Suite Golf Travel found, through Tripwiser.com's Jacksonville information, that the area has tons of activities for the kids, great places to stay for any budget, and fabulous golf. We were more than pleasantly surprised that the whole family could enjoy a short golf break or an full-fledged vacation.

Recommended place to stay: The Omni Jacksonville Hotel.
