This article, "Travel: Vacations--Why We Go Where We Go", published today in The Wire, a Golf Press Association publication, explains the result of a recent survey of 1,000 vacationers.
One of the most interesting stats was that 66% of respondents said that place was the determining factor when deciding on a vacation. Interestingly, vacation packages were most popular among the 18-34 age range.
The article contains a number of other statistics that would be of use to vacation planners. Give the article a look. It should be useful in planning the next golf or family vacation. At least see the things other people find important.
